Custom UNIX Shell Command
Hi, This may be a silly question. I have been searching for a while on this.
How can I create a custom unix command using C (a command similar to 'echo').

hi
I am trying to make my own commands in my linux.I thought a command for changing directories will be easy.
I made a simple file amd made the entries
#!/bin/bash
cd /opt/mydir
I then made the file executable and then moved it to /usr/bin.

emailstat -email <email>
now I am trying to run the vmstat and and pass the output to emailstat source in -message part. Is this possible ?
