Hi All,
I have a question here in perl script
Suppose I have a date 12/22/2011(mm/dd/yyyy) what i have to do is to find
the start date of the week in which that date lies and end date of that week. In this scenario the start date will be 12/19/2011 and the end date will be 12/25/2011

I have a question regarding running perl in the current process.

so in unix this command works works and shows me a list of directories
find . -name \*.xls -exec dirname {} \; | sort -u | > list.txt
but when i try running a perl script to run this command

How can i print the output of a perl script on a unix console and redirect the same in a log file under same directory simultaneously ?

Not sure what I am doing wrong here, but I can print the list with no issue. Just a blank screen with the 'do'.

This package provides a calendar megawidget (snidget). widget::calendar pathname ?options? WIDGET OPTIONS
-command A script to evaluate when a date was selected. -dateformat The format of the date that is returned. Default: %m/%d/%Y. -firstday Set first day the week, Either sunday or monday. It defaults to monday. -font Select the font used in the widget. It defaults to Helvetica 9. -highlightcolor Selects the background color for the day that has been selected. Default: #FFCC00 -language Specify language of the calendar contents. The language is specified by abbreviations of the languge, for example: en - english, de - german ... It defaults to en. pathname get ?what? Returns a part of the selected date or 'all'. The argument what selects the part. Valid values for what are: day, month, year and all. 'all' is the default and returns the complete date in the format given with -dateformat. DEFAULT BINDINGS
