ifconfig eth0|awk 'NR==8{print $2;exit}'|cut -c7-
it also the same result when i run the command like this
ifconfig eth0|awk 'NR==8{print $2}'|cut -c7-
can u tell me the effect of ";exit" ?

Issue nesting variables in csh.
