trying to patch aix 5.3 TL 5 to TL12
Need some help, just installed a new aix box with aix 5.3
honda # oslevel -s
5300-05-CSP-0000
i got a package from ibm which told me that it was a cumulative patch to upgrade my 5.3 TL 5 to TL 12. I downloaded it, took a long time, after installing using smitty, i get failed.
so after doing some searching on the net i did this command which should show me some filesets that were missing, (oh i read the logs and found some filesets and requisites are missing)
honda # oslevel -r -l 5300-12
Fileset Actual Level Recommended ML
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------
X11.loc.en_US.Dt.rte 5.3.0.50 5.3.0.60
bos.msg.en_US.rte 5.3.0.0 5.3.11.0
csm.client 1.5.1.0 1.7.1.0
csm.core 1.5.1.1 1.7.1.0
csm.deploy 1.5.1.1 1.7.1.0
csm.msg.EN_US.core 1.4.0.0 1.7.0.0
csm.msg.en_US.core 1.4.0.0 1.7.0.0
devices.msg.en_US.common.IBM.sni.ml 1.2.0.0 1.2.0.1
so as a test i downloaded csm.core 1.7.1.0 and just did that install and it also failed, so i am not sure what i am doing wrong,
i have no space or bandwidth constraints, isnt there somewhere i could find a cumulative patch, like is HP, including all pre requisites and filesets

Hello,
I have to apply the patch PHSS_24302 on HPUX B.11.11 os version. When i look at the /var/adm/sw/swagentd.log it mentions that "this is not a valid depot". I downloaded the patch from HP web site. Please get back to me at the earliest as I'm dead in the water. Thanks,
