My question is so simple:
A = raw_input("A ")
if A == '56':
VAR = (A + 54)/13

if I write in input 5656565656
i want to make some arithmetic operations if the first input is 56XXX

I am trying to remove lines once a string is found till another string is found including the start string and end string. I want to basically grab all the lines starting with color (closing bracket). PS: The line after the closing bracket for color could be anything (currently 'more').... (1 Reply)

I have column 5 in a file which contains string like this for ex.
RP11-125O5.2
SLCO1B1
CAPN1
FRMPD2
TXNL4B
So I do by
data = )]
ValueError: invalid literal for int() with base 10: 'R'
Can someday tell me how to convert this column into int successfully.

Due to the security concerns it is highly recommended to run ppserver.py with an non-trivial secret key (-s command line argument) which should be paired with the matching secret keyword of PP Server class constructor. An alternative way to set a secret key is by assigning pp_secret variable in the configuration file .pythonrc.py which should be located in the user home directory (please make this file read- able and writable only by user). The secret key set in .pythonrc.py could be overridden by command line argument (for ppserver.py) and secret keyword (for PP Server class constructor). AUTHOR
