the error here shows that the zone is in /zones, where does /storedge in this matter?
i don't know if i get it right, you have a physical server running Solaris 9 that you want to migrate to a branded zone on host sunglb02ps?
also, it might be that the rsync process has messed up the zone configuration. can you post your zone configuration and the list of the zones on the host? and if you may, also, post how you run your rsync command?

I have a script scheduled in my crontab that outputs to /dev/null

A very strange problem I have this morning with my Solaris 8.
I have a FS full, I deleted some files but the system doesn't seems to reallocate the free space (I'm using Veritas):

SYNOPSIS
/usr/lib/zones/zoneadmd
DESCRIPTION
zoneadmd is a system daemon that is started when the system needs to manage a particular zone. Because each instance of the zoneadmd daemon
manages a particular zone, it is not unexpected to see multiple zoneadmd daemons running.
This daemon is started automatically by the zone management software and should not be invoked directly. The daemon shuts down automati-
cally when no longer in use. It does not constitute a programming interface, but is classified as a private interface.
