Hi,
Online invalid means the disk is visible to OS but it is not in control of VxVM
you need to run

vxdisksetup -i <diskname> --- to get the disk in control of VxVm

observer the change after this command
vxdisk list

too add the disk in DG

vxdg init diskgroup diskname=newdiskname
vxdg -g diskgroup adddisk diskname=newdiskname

observer change
vxdisk list or vxlist disk

Unable to deactivate a Volume Group

We want to deactivate a VG but failed, because one of the LVs created there is busy. install-solaris install-solaris invokes the Solaris Install program. Depending on graphical capability and available memory at the time of invocation, install-solaris invokes either a text-based installer or a graphical installer.
