I need to run a remote application(GUI) in a client.i.e on running a script in the client machine i should get the GUI application which is running in the server by providing password through the script.Will expect or autoexpect command suit for this scenario?

I am doing a project which asks me to enter password 4 times in a row. I need to enter the same password 4 times. My target is to enter password once and apply it 4 times.
My friend told me to use "expect" command. Can you please give me a sample code to do so.

10.152.165.217 and 10.152.165.218 are two servers that i use. I would like to access 218 from 217 using expect command. i'm not aware of how to use the command. Could anyone help me with it with a script snippet

When I run script listed below it causes my Linux to hang. When it freezes I can do totally nothing, move cursor, switch to another terminal or whatever. Linux is just not responding and the only way out I know is a hard reset of PC.

Hi,
I am using following commands in my script to send a password to scp command. Everything is working fine except that I need a return code from the scp command. Do any one have an idea how to receive the exit code of scp command from expect.

fluxbox-remote - command line access to key commands for fluxbox(1) SYNOPSIS
fluxbox-remote command DESCRIPTION
fluxbox-remote(1) is designed to allow scripts to execute most key commands from fluxbox(1). fluxbox-remote(1) will only work with fluxbox(1): its communications with fluxbox(1) are not standardized in any way. It is recommended that a standards-based tool such as wmctrl(1) be used whenever possible, in order for scripts to work with other window managers. CAVEATS
fluxbox-remote(1) uses the X11 protocol to communicate with fluxbox(1). Therefore, it is possible for any user with access to the X(7) server to use fluxbox-remote(1). For this reason, several key commands have been disabled. Users should be aware of the security implications when enabling fluxbox-remote(1), especially when using a forwarded X(7) connection. RESOURCES
session.screen0.allowRemoteActions: <boolean> This resource in ~/.fluxbox/init must be set to 'true' in order for fluxbox-remote(1) to function. Please read the CAVEATS first. ENVIRONMENT
