Hi!
I have this situation with 3 shellscripts.
One is a "startscript" that simply calls other scripts. This one is scheduled with cron to run at regular intervals. That script runs what I'll refer to as Script 1.
Script 1 in turn runs script 2 (import_catalogs_buyer.sh)

I have written below code to initiate the log at top of my script.

I need to write a script, where I have to get names of files that are to be deleted from a user and have to delete those files when he exits session.

Hi
I know that to see the size of the lun I need to give the command as "bootinfo -s hdisk*"
Can any one assist me with a script which if run will get the size of all the luns allocated to the server. The output of the script should be something like the one below :

In my .tcshrc I define and run an alias to set my terminal title. The title contains the hostname. I do this because I ssh to other machines a lot and I always need to know which host I am typing in. The alias is defined and run in the .tcshrc like this...

Hi,
My goal is to connect from unix server A to windows server B and call a bat file on windows.
I am able to succeed in remoting to windows and executing a command, the issue i am facing is the shell scrip is exiting without making sure of bat file success.

I'm not sure why but my script quits automatically at the point where unix2dos / dos2unix command is used. :confused::confused::confused:
How do a fix it?

pollrcvd - HylaFAX script for delivering facsimile received by polling SYNOPSIS
/var/spool/hylafax/bin/pollrcvd mailaddr faxfile devid commid error-msg DESCRIPTION
bin/pollrcvd is the command script invoked by the HylaFAX server whenever a facsimile is received as a result of a polling operation. The default script uses electronic mail to deliver the facsimile to the user that submitted the poll request, and can be controlled by editing the etc/PollDispatch shell script in the spooling area that is sourced by pollrcvd when it runs. The arguments are: mailaddr the electronic mail address of the user that submitted the poll request. faxfile the pathname of the received TIFF file relative to the root of the spooling hierarchy. commid The communication identifier associated with the call (used to include a transcript when an error occurs). devid the modem device on which the document was received. error-msg an error message that is non-null if an error was encountered during the receive operation. NOTES
The default script delivers facsimile as PostScript wrapped in MIME. FILES
