If your ksh is actually ksh93 (Korn shell 93), you can do ranges using {start..finish} syntax.

For example:
Code:
#!/bin/ksh93

for i in {11..15}; do
   echo $i
done

produces
Code:
11
12
13
14
15

Bash and zsh use the same syntax.
