Operating Systems Linux Debian creating a boot CD (iso file) to debian5 Post 302490786 by iga3725 on Tuesday 25th of January 2011 04:34:34 PM

Yes, but a simple question comes to mi mind, why debian doesn't have mkbotdisk similar command. I couldn't find mkbootdisk source (tar file) to try to compile it on debian. Also, I'm looking for why debian doesn't have a similar command? Debian has mkboot but it only support floppies, Nowadays there're not floppies devices on servers.
Don't know if you understand me. With a similar command as mkbootdisk you do nothing but insert your CD and boot your server. Everything runs as always. It simply saves your live.
Thanks.
