I assume you can either boot from a CD or from another system. Then why not do that and then try mounting the offending filesystem with zfs mount ?
@Neo
if you mean HDD , the answer is no i can't boot off HDD .
if you mean dvd , the answer is yes i can boot off dvd in single user shell.
i have no solaris x86 servers live right now , only SPARC , but i can install fresh system on alternate disk and attach the dead disk to that system , so what do i need to do zfs mount from either booting off dvd or from within another solaris 10 x86 machine .
what exact steps do i need to do a sucessful zfs mount , deatiled steps if you please

I know that Sun make s a version of Solaris for Sparc platforms and also an x86 (Intel/AMD) release of Solaris. Can an application that runs on Solaris/Sparc also run on a PC running the x86 release of Solaris? Would a different release be required or any re-compling of the application?

First of all, forgive me if I come off as naive. Normally I'm doing day-to-day management of a Server 2008 network, so HP-UX isn't exactly my forte.
We have several HP 715/100 machines running UX 9.x, and recently one of them stopped being able to boot. In the boot menu the disk shows up with... (3 Replies)

SYSTEMD-EFI-BOOT-GENERATOR(8) systemd-efi-boot-generator SYSTEMD-EFI-BOOT-GENERATOR(8)NAME
systemd-efi-boot-generator - Generator for automatically mounting the EFI System Partition used by the current boot to /boot
SYNOPSIS
/usr/lib/systemd/system-generators/systemd-efi-boot-generator
DESCRIPTION
systemd-efi-boot-generator is a generator that automatically creates mount and automount units for the EFI System Partition (ESP), mounting
it to /boot. Note that this generator will execute no operation on non-EFI systems, on systems where the boot loader does not communicate
the used ESP to the OS, on systems where /boot is an explicitly configured mount (for example, listed in fstab(5)) or where the /boot mount
point is non-empty. Since this generator creates an automount unit, the mount will only be activated on-demand, when accessed.
systemd-efi-boot-generator implements the generator specification[1].
