Long lines in test.awk

I have a awk script called test.awk which I run using

Code:
awk -f test.awk file1.txt > file2.txt

I am doing a long print statement and want to put it in separate lines

Do I need a '/' at the end or not?????

Should it be like this

Code:
print $1,$2,$2,$2,$2,$2,$2,$2,$2,$2,$2,$2,$2,$2,$2,$2,
         $2,$2,$2,$2,$2,$2,$2,$2,$2,$2,$2,
         $2,$2,$2,$2,$2,$2,$2,$2,$2,$2,$2,$2,$2,$2,$2

or like this

Code:
print $1,$2,$2,$2,$2,$2,$2,$2,$2,$2,$2,$2,$2,$2,$2,$2,  \
         $2,$2,$2,$2,$2,$2,$2,$2,$2,$2,$2,              \
         $2,$2,$2,$2,$2,$2,$2,$2,$2,$2,$2,$2,$2,$2,$2

OPTIONS
See gawk(1) for a full description of the AWK language and the options that gawk supports. EXAMPLES
cat << EOF > test.awk @include getopt.awk BEGIN { while (getopt(ARGC, ARGV, "am:q") != -1) ... } EOF igawk -f test.awk SEE ALSO
