For example:
split -l 3000000 filename.txt
This is very slow and it splits the file with 3 million records in each... (10 Replies)

Hello,
I have the following input file:
A=1;B=2;C=3;D=4
A=4;B=6;C=7;D=9
I wish to have the following output
1 2 3 4
4 6 7 9
Can awk split be used to do this?

Any help is appreciated! (4 Replies)
