For Loop Question

I'm improving the way an existing script handles arrays, but the results aren't what I had in mind:

Code:
e[0]="Too many consecutive errors... System is probably unstable!"
e[1]="Cancelable Timer Wait Failed!"

for errcd in ${e[*]}
do
        echo ${errcd}
done

The for loop interprets the spaces as a break and returns:
Code:
Too
many
consecutive
errors...
System
is
probably
unstable!
Cancelable
Timer
Wait
Failed!

I need it to return each array input as it's declared. I'm running ksh on aix 5.3. Thanks!
