picking file from a particular URL and the processing
Is it possible to complete the following steps in a shell script.
1) Picking up a file (File Name format: CHANGELOG_GBT_MONTH_yyyy.xls) from a particular URL where "MONTH" = Current Month and "yyyy" = current year.
2) Extract the 4 different columns(columns A,B,F,I of the excel sheet mentioned above) from the 4th sheet tab and Load them into a Custom Table.
3)Some Validations are to be performed on the table after which the records are to be exported in XX_XXXXX_XXXXX_XX_XXXXXX.csv file
CSV file will be of UTF 16,Tab delimited format having 2 columns.
I'm new to Shell Scripts.
