Hi,

just a small note aside - if you use relocatable packages, you cannot run with TCB - at least on AIX 5.3 these exclude each other.

I wanted to do an "Alternate Disk Migration" via my NIM server to update several clients (all LPARs in a p670) from 5.1 ML6 to 5.2 ML3. Can we directly edit "/etc/environment" file in AIX using vi ?

Hi Is it recommended to edit the file "/etc/environment" directly using vi ? (like by adding some export something= value staements) or do we need to edit /etc/profile file in order to set the environment variables, globally to the entire AIX LPAR please suggest. (5 Replies)

go - tool for managing Go source code SYNOPSIS
go command [arguments] DESCRIPTION
The Go distribution includes a command, named go, that automates the downloading, building, installation, and testing of Go packages and commands. COMMANDS
Each command is documented in its own manpage. For example, the build command is documented in go-build(1).
