Operating Systems OS X (Apple) command to check presence of volume Post 302440602 by forquare on Tuesday 27th of July 2010 05:10:55 PM

A simple Bash script should do the trick, something like this:
Code:
#!/bin/bash

if [[ -d /Volumes/myVolume ]]; then
    cp path/to/my/file path/to/volume
fi

Something like iHook should let you set it to run at log out.
Use something like TextMate, whatever you use, make sure it outputs as plain text. Save it as something like my_copy_script.sh

If you need a help with the commands, call back here with the paths to the files/folders you want to copy and where you want them copied to and we can get you a script that does exatly what you want Smilie
