If the system will boot from the scsi cd drive, then just insert the cd and follow the prompts. If not, then you have to boot from the boot diskette, and add a bootstring to tell the install program where to find the cd drive, and where to find the disk drive. Depending on the scsi card, you may also need a BTLD (boot time loadable driver) diskette for the scsi card. This OS will not run on a P4.

Hi am Running SCO UNIXware 7.1.4 am i cant stand the shell that comes with, i downloaded the source for bash and the uncompressed it.
I run the:- ./configure and that went through with no issues
I then ran make that also went through fine with no errors.

install-solaris
install-solaris invokes the Solaris Install program. Depending on graphical capability and available memory at the time of invocation,
install-solaris invokes either a text-based installer or a graphical installer.
The following minimum requirements for physical memory dictate which features are available during installation:
For SPARC machines:
128 MB
Minimum physical memory for all installation types
128 MB
Minimum physical memory required for windowing system
384 MB
Minimum physical memory required for graphical-based installation
For x86 machines:
256 MB
Minimum physical memory for all installation types
256 MB
