See below as I tried to look at the first line of the file you provided.
Thus, don't think the data is binary - at least in 0's and 1's sense - although perhaps binary in the thinking as executable and/or ftp file download.
The od command (with my options) displays the ASCII numeric values for the data on that first line.
Here is what I did . . . . I FTP'd several *.pdf files from a web site to a UNIX server, and did not set the transfer mode to BIN, now Adobe thinks that the documents are corrupted. Is there a way to convert the *.pdf files to Binary so that Adobe can open them again. I would just re-download... (2 Replies)

Is there a way to convert the binary file to ascii . the binary file is pipe delimited.
from source the file(pipe delimited) is ftped to mainframe and from mainframe it is ftped to the unix box using binary format. Is there a way to change it back to ascii and view it?

DROP TEXT SEARCH PARSER drops an existing text search parser. You must be a superuser to use this command.
PARAMETERS
IF EXISTS
Do not throw an error if the text search parser does not exist. A notice is issued in this case.
name The name (optionally schema-qualified) of an existing text search parser.
CASCADE
Automatically drop objects that depend on the text search parser.
RESTRICT
Refuse to drop the text search parser if any objects depend on it. This is the default.
EXAMPLES
Remove the text search parser my_parser:
