I also tried to create a spark solaris virtual machine, but the problem figuring is that DVD is not bootable...

It is a problem of Ram, just upgrade the vmware ram to 1Gb, problem will be solved

when I check "ipconfig /all" I do not get any DNS Suffix name -- neither for vmnet1 and vmnet8 nor for local ethernet IP. Default gateways are 192.168.1.1 and 192.168.1.2
