Accidentally deleted s. link /usr/lib/secure/s8_preload.so.1
I have accidentally deleted the sim link:
/usr/lib/secure/s8_preload.so.1 -> /.SUNWnative/usr/lib/brand/solaris8/s8_preload.so.1
and now I can't do almost anything in my Solaris 8 container.
I still have an open session to the machine. I can not create the link again because trying to run:
ln -s /.SUNWnative/usr/lib/brand/solaris8/s8_preload.so.1 /usr/lib/secure/s8_preload.so.1
returns an error message:
bash-2.03# ln -s /.SUNWnative/usr/lib/brand/solaris8/s8_preload.so.1 /usr/lib/secure/s8_preload.so.1
ld.so.1: ln: fatal: /usr/lib/secure/s8_preload.so.1: open failed: No such file or directory
Killed
I don't have access to the Global zone user and pass and the server is at the other end of the world.
Could you please give an advice how can I fix this if it is even possible?
