Is it possible to code a FOR loop within Bourne/Korn shell of the form:
for i in somelist AND j in anotherlist
do
echo $i $j
done
Basically I have two "lists", say:

listB= "a b c d e"

I am using getops to get the arguments passed by the command line.
However, I need to specify some rules regarding the parameter sent.
For eg:
I have script called MyScript which accept parameter d, I, E, r, u
so the usage should be like this:

FORMAT controls the output as in C printf. Interpreted sequences are:
" double quote
\ backslash
a alert (BEL)
backspace
c produce no further output
e escape
f form feed
new line
carriage return
horizontal tab
v vertical tab
NNN byte with octal value NNN (1 to 3 digits)
xHH byte with hexadecimal value HH (1 to 2 digits)
