After 10+ years as a Unix system administrator or engineer, I changed careers in August. I am now a Technical Trainer for Compellent, a SAN storage vendor based in Eden Prairie, MN. I teach courses for our end users and business partners as well as develop and update courses and documentation. It is a big change from being a Unix admin for sure - regular hours, no pager or night/weekend maintenance, getting up in the morning and having to actually function by 8am . . . Smilie But I am liking it so far.
