can you elaborate on the cdrom thing? when you power down the system, put in a cd and power up, you can't get it to boot off cd? i take it the system auto-boots from disk?

I'm running solaris 2.5.1. My main development server is DEAD, i can't even boot off the cdrom, it powers up, acts like it is starting the boot process but then says cannot find boot device. fence_alom - Fence agent for Sun ALOM
DESCRIPTION
fence_alom is an I/O Fencing agent which can be used with ALOM connected machines.
fence_alom accepts options on the command line as well as from stdin. Fenced sends parameters through stdin when it execs the agent.
fence_alom can be run by itself with command line options. This is useful for testing and for turning outlets on or off from scripts.
