Hi,
Yes abcd_20090524_193545.dat is just and example.20090524 is the DATE Format and 193545 is the TIMESTAMP.This Timestamp and date are the time and date of that day,so 'abcd' is constant which dosent change only the date and timestamp changes.Only one .dat file will be exsisting in the directory.How can i refer a standard name to that .dat file and again refering that standard name in the control file.
Can u please elobarate.
