Operating Systems Solaris How to get the status of the method Post 302304545 by TonyFullerMalv on Monday 6th of April 2009 07:06:45 PM

Try:
Code:
/usr/local/proce start
STATUS=$?

and

Code:
/usr/local/proce stop
STATUS=$?

and then at the end of the script:
Code:
echo STATUS = ${STATUS}
exit ${STATUS}

The variables you quote would need to be used in /usr/local/proce to set its exit code if you wanted to use them.
