-in a specific character positions, changes
the value to a new value
-These character positions are fixed througout the file

It sounds a bit confusing but what I have is a text file like the example below (without the Line1, Line2, Line3 etc. of course) and I want to move every group of characters into a new line after each space.

I have a bunch of random character lines like ABCEDFG. I want to find all lines with "A" and then change any "E" to "X" in the same line. ALL lines with "A" will have an "X" somewhere in it. I need a program that read a file line by line and prints out lines 1, 2 & 3 after an empty line... An example of entries in the file would be:

converted text file (original is a pdf).
1. Since the first two lines are (begin with) text they are removed
