network Problem with unix open solaris
Dear Member:-
Kindly be I am facing a problem with my open Solaris release b101
1- vi /etc/hostname.reg0
This is my IP address xx.xx.xx.xx
2- vi /etc/netmasks
This is my subnet mask
3- vi /etc/defaultrouter
This is my gateway
4- vi /etc/resolv.conf
This is my DNS written with this way
Example:-
nameserver xx.xx.xx.xx
nameserver xx.xx.xx.xx
The problem is:-
1- I can't brows any web site
2- When I write this command
# ping 4.2.2.2
4.2.2.2 is alive
# ping
Yahoo!
Yahoo! unknown host
What is the problem and how to solve it?

at the end that i should confirm it says:

Hi guys,
Hope somebody can help me on this. I have a Sun Sparc 20 workstation and it has a boot problem. During boot, an error message " ifconfig:socket: Bad File Number" come up and the workstation hang (cannot boot).

Finance::Quote::Yahoo::NZ - Fetch nzn stock quotes via Yahoo.
SYNOPSIS

DESCRIPTION
This module allows information to be fetched from Yahoo about stocks traded on the New Zealand Stock Exchange. Information about indexes
is not available through this module.
This module is loaded by default on a Finance::Quote object, although it can be explicitly loaded by passing the argument "Yahoo::nz" to
Finance::Quote->new().
This module provides only the "yahoo_nz" fetch methods. The author (stephen@vital.org.nz) will write a module to access the NZX site if
asked nicely.
Information obtained via this module is governed by Yahoo's terms and conditions, see http://au.finance.yahoo.com/ for more details.
LABELS RETURNED
