Use espeak to synthesize messages
--test-festival
Test whether Festival works as a server
-s, --test-spd-say
Test connection to Speech Dispatcher using spd-say
--test-pulse
Test Pulse Audio

Configure basic settings in user configuration
-u, --create-user-conf
