It might be possible your system was configured to be "secure by default". In that case remote X11 access is disabled.
You can check if it is by running that command:
If false is reported, you can enable tcp listening with that command:

We have a strange problem on our solaris zones. We have four zones on a Global server (Sun-Fire-V890; Solaris 10 Update 6) and the SSH sessions to all four zones are terminated at a specific time (11:10 PM) every night. The SSH session to the global server is not terminated.

Is it possible to create metadevices and soft partitions using Solaris Volume Manager on Solaris 10 x86 that is running on VMware Workstation.
It would a low cost method to practice extending soft partitions and metadevices.
