i want to tar them all into one tar file.but the below normal command is telling me "arg list too long"
also i tried the below command but not getting it tarred
i think we can tar this 700 files using find command, can anyone help me out.?

4 files are returned when i issue 'find . -mtime -1 -type f -ls'.
./ora_475244.aud
./ora_671958.aud
./ora_934052.aud
./ora_934050.aud
However, when I issued the below command:

step 1 :
find ./ -type f -mtime +7 -name "*.00*" | wc -l = 13519 ( total files )
( the size of this files is appx : 10GB )
step 2:
find ./ -type f -mtime +7 -name "*.00*" | xargs tar zcvf Archieve_7.tar.gz

I finally installed Chakra Linux and noticed whether I create or extract a file with 700, 755, 775 permissions a * sign is listed at the end of the filename:
$ ls -l bin/32
