Ok thanks, but that code is only working for the cases where a==b, I don't get the FALSE cases

besides how can I send the output to a file? I tried the next line but doesn't work
test $a==$b echo TRUE >>r.txt || echo FALSE >>r.txt

[Solved] Problem in reading a file line by line till it reaches a white line
