Just to wrap it up, I note that you are missing the closing fi from the if conditional. (I'm sure you did that on purpose; just to straighten this out for any future readers of this thread.)
The [[ test command is available in POSIX shell I believe, but not in "classic" Bourne shell.

I have three arrays.

I want to compare the elements of the first two array and if they match then so some substition.

Object oriented style
SYNOPSIS

Procedural style
string date_format (DateTimeInterface $object, string $format)
Returns date formatted according to given format.
PARAMETERS
o $object
-Procedural style only: A DateTime object returned by date_create(3)
o $format
- Format accepted by date(3).
RETURN VALUES
Returns the formatted date string on success or FALSE on failure.
EXAMPLES

Object oriented style
