Whats wrong in the script?

if [ $1 -eq -* ]
then
if [ $1 = -t ]
then
echo "fst argument is $1 "
else
if [ $1 = -r ]
then
"fst argument is $1"
fi
fi
fi





Can anyone tell me. My requirement is tht pass a string ..
Check whether it contains "-". If yes then check if it contains -r .If -r then put messge else if -t then put some message.

putnext() is used to pass a message to the put(9E) routine of the next queue in the stream. RETURN VALUES
