the new ML 350 G5 servers come with SAS hard disk
this means new technology, wich is serial adapter scsi, the new generation of scsi, which mean that has to be bot with a new string containing the new driver, in this case "hpsas", the complete string on boot as follows:
defbootstr link=hpsas hd=Sdsk Sdsk=hpsas(0,0,0,0) Srom=wd(0,0,0)

Can any one suggest me how i will install SCO 5.0.5 on new server ML350 G5 as vendar says this machine is not compatable for SCO 5.0.5 this machine only can support SCO 5.0.7 but i dont want to install SCO 5.0.7 .

Fires when SCSI mid layer prepares a SCSI request
Arguments:
disk_major
The major number of the disk
disk_minor
The minor number of the disk
device_state
The current state of the device. The possible values could be:
