lynx browser + SSL

I built openSSL then tried to build lynx to use it by:
./configure --with-ssl
It finds the ssl .h files but cant link, last 3 lines from .configure are:
checking for openssl include directory... yes
checking if we can link to ssl library... no
configure: error: Cannot link with ssl library
Any ideas please?

) but there must be an option which tells lynx's configure where your built Openssl installation is something like ssl-dir or --with-ssl=/the/dir/to/ssl, etc ... type './configure --help | more' and read carefully ... Good luck, lynx rules (yeah im serious!)

i have configured Squid proxy server in Fedora 8 with two network interfaces.
HTTP, HTTPS, FTP are working fine but we are unable to download mails using mail clients from mail server with POP3(ssl) and SMTP(ssl).
so please someone help us how to enable pop and smtp in Squid. (1 Reply)

The reason is if I open some URL's and type my login infos
then lynx show follow message:

I have interesting problem.
https:/host/some/x.cgi
- this script has run twice when I call this url
But
http:/host/some/x.cgi
work fine, only once.
Output is text/plain.
If I change output format to the Content-type text/html,

SSL_get_ciphers() returns the stack of available SSL_CIPHERs for ssl, sorted by preference. If ssl is NULL or no ciphers are available, NULL is returned. SSL_get_cipher_list() returns a pointer to the name of the SSL_CIPHER listed for ssl with priority. If ssl is NULL, no ciphers are avail- able, or there are less ciphers than priority available, NULL is returned. NOTES
The details of the ciphers obtained by SSL_get_ciphers() can be obtained using the SSL_CIPHER_get_name(3) family of functions. Call SSL_get_cipher_list() with priority starting from 0 to obtain the sorted list of available ciphers, until NULL is returned. RETURN VALUES
