If I wanted a machine to put a specific file onto another OS far across the internet via FTP - and I wanted to do it automatically not user intervented, how would I do that? Use the PUT command? Hi , I need some help to finish my ftp script and i need to find the last one weeks of fles updated in the sepecific directory and see those end with Z and ftp them to my backup server. Any help is appreciated. Thanks, Ravi :) (1 Reply)

       XSetSizeHints, XGetSizeHints - set or get window size hints

Syntax
       XSetSizeHints(display, w, hints, property)
	     Display *display;
	     Window w;
	     XSizeHints *hints;
	     Atom property;

       Status XGetSizeHints(display, w, hints_return, property)
	     Display *display;
	     Window w;
	     XSizeHints *hints_return;
	     Atom property;

Arguments
       display	 Specifies the connection to the X server.

       hints	 Specifies a pointer to the size hints.

       hints_return
		 Returns the size hints.

       property  Specifies the property name.

       w	 Specifies the window.

Description
       The  function  sets the structure for the named property and the specified window.  This is used by and and can be used to set the value of
       any property of type WM_SIZE_HINTS.  Thus, it may be useful if other properties of that type get defined.
