Thank you very much.
Actually I had checked in the /etc/hosts.But did not find the entry.But was able to ping to the printer.Strange !!
So wanted to look for any other possible way.

praliases - print system-wide sendmail aliases SYNOPSIS
file] file] [key ...] DESCRIPTION
prints out the contents of the alias data base used by to resolve system-wide mail aliases. The alias data base is built with the command or See sendmail(1M). The options are: Read the configuration file specified with this option instead of the default configuration file.
