Setup Cron Job

Thank you ZB, yes it is using DHCP. I'm pretty sure there is no other sever on the network named genius.local. This is the error I get:
The server is using Mac OS X server 10.4. I just figured that a cron job would solve the issue even its kinda like putting duck tape on something.

I run cron in solaris 10 zone. One cron job which syncing files to nfs mounted on container, creates after finishing another cron proccess(/usr/sbin/cron), and after 100 existing cron proccesses next cron job will not start. Hi Guys,
can someone help me how to setup a job in cron that runs each morning from 8-10 a.m. for every half an hour but starting from 8:50 a.m.?
so far i have this:
00,30 8-10 * * *
but the problem is that it starts at 8:30 instead of 8:50
Anyone?

HI I am new to unix .
I wanted to create a cron job that runs a script every 10 min .So when I enter
vi /etc/crontab
I get the following output
SHELL=/bin/bash
PATH=/sbin:/bin:/usr/sbin:/usr/bin

Hi ,
I have removed a cron for particular user , but cron job seems to be running even after the cron entry is removed. The purpose of the cron was to sendmail to user ( it uses mailx utility )

dhcpmgr - graphical interface for managing DHCP service SYNOPSIS

dhcpmgr is a graphical user interface which enables you to manage the Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol (DHCP) service on the local sys- tem. It performs the functions of the dhcpconfig, dhtadm, and pntadm command line utilities. You must be root to use dhcpmgr. The dhcpmgr Help, available from the Help menu, contains detailed information about using the tool. USAGE
You can perform the following tasks using dhcpmgr: Configure DHCP service Use dhcpmgr to configure the DHCP daemon as a DHCP server, and select the data store to use for storing network configuration tables.. Configure BOOTP relay service Use dhcpmgr to configure the DHCP daemon as a BOOTP relay. Manage DHCP or BOOTP relay service Use dhcpmgr to start, stop, enable, disable or unconfigure the DHCP service or BOOTP relay service, or change DHCP server parameters. Manage DHCP addresses Use dhcpmgr to add, modify, or delete IP addresses leased by the DHCP service.
