What sources can I go to to figure out what is the maximun number of processes for OS7 with 2GB of memory.
I believe it is 64K processes, but this number reflects resources being swaped.
Any help is appreciated

we've got solaris 5.6 installed in a ultra 5 box that serves as gateway server going to the main unix box.
just like to find out how to determine the number of concurrent terminal connections and processes that the ultra 5 box can handle? and handling at present time?

Sir's, the problem is i have script and 1 user in different 30 servers that ssh to our main server at the same time. Then after that may account automatically locked. I dont know what is the reason, is it the max connection of 1 user using ssh.

Assigned: 2.0
Max: 6.0
Partition is uncapped weight is 128.
I would like to know if even if this is uncapped, is the max it can use 6?
The actual pool has 16.

cpufreqd-get - Issues "get" commands to cpufreqd.
SYNTAX
cpufreqd-get [-l]
PARAMETERS
-l list applied Profiles for all cpus.
DESCRIPTION
cpufreqd-get issues a command to cpufreqd and reads the returned output. When run without arguments it will issue a "LIST_PROFILES" com-
mand, useful for usage with cpufreqd-set. See the PARAMETERS above for more.

Governor: ondemand
Min freq: 1000000

cpufreqd-get -l

Near the name (between the parenthesis) you can find the index number to use when setting a specific profile with cpufreqd-set.
