UNIX ls-l
we used ls-l in one of the script to get the file listing, we assume this listing is sorted by date/time - oldest first, then delete the oldest.
Before 1/1/07, the listing created the file list sorted by date (oldest first)
Dec 21 23:00 htst122106.con
Dec 21 23:45 htst122106.dmp.Z
Dec 21 23:00 htst122106.init
Dec 21 23:45 htst122106.pipe
Dec 23 23:00 htst122306.con
Dec 23 23:48 htst122306.dmp.Z
Dec 23 23:00 htst122306.init
Dec 23 23:48 htst122306.log
Dec 23 23:48 htst122306.pipe
Dec 26 23:00 htst122606.con
Now, since 1/1/07, the oldest file was deleted because the ls -l created the list sorted like following:
Jan 5 03:00 hxx010507.con
Jan 5 03:55 hxx010507.dmp.Z
Jan 5 03:55 hxx010507.log
Jan 5 14:02 hxx010507.pipe
Dec 19 03:00 hxx121906.con
Dec 19 03:51 hxx121906.dmp.Z
Dec 19 03:00 hxx121906.init
Jan 5 14:02 hxx121906.pipe
Dec 20 03:00 hxx122006.con
Dec 20 03:47 hxx122006.dmp.Z
Could anyone help to explain why the file created on Jan 5 was listed first?
Thanks advance!!

Mounting config on fused in background.
Use command 'fusermount -u fused' to unmount

BUGS
For some configuration, mapping each parameter to a file may lead to a high number of files.
constructor
new (...)
parameters are:
model
Config::Model object
root
Root of the configuration tree ("Config::Model::Node" object )
mountpoint
Methods
run_loop( fork_in_loop => 1|0, debug => 1|0)
Mount the file system either in the current process or fork a new process before mounting the file system. In the former case, the call is
blocking. In the latter, the call will return after forking a process that will perform the mount. Debug parameter is passed to Fuse system
to get Fuse traces.
fuse_mount
Mount the fuse file system. This method will block until the file system is unmounted (with "fusermount -u mount_point" command)
