not able to kill find with kill -9
Hello everyone
I am using HP Ux and had run a find command. Now I am trying to kill it with kill or kill -9 but it is not getting killed and still running. Any clues ?

I need to KILL a process in a single command sentence, for example:
kill -9 `ps -aef | grep 'CAL255.4ge' | grep -v grep | awk '{print $2}'`
That sentence Kills the process ID corresponding to the program CAL255.4ge.

On AIX we can use light-weight tool called ProbeVue to track it but not sure how to do it on HP-UX. Appreciate your help.

killall(1M) System Administration Commands killall(1M)
NAME
killall - kill all active processes
SYNOPSIS
/usr/sbin/killall [signal]
DESCRIPTION
killall is used by shutdown(1M) to kill all active processes not directly related to the shutdown procedure.
killall terminates all processes with open files so that the mounted file systems will be unbusied and can be unmounted.
killall sends signal (see kill(1)) to the active processes. If no signal is specified, a default of 15 is used.
The killall command can be run only by the super-user.
