Here i have to check first record $3 $4 with second record $1 $2 respectively. If match found, then check first record $2 == second record $4 , if it equals , then reduce two records to single record like as desired output.

I have a file full of coordinates of the form:

The numbers don't always have the same number of decimal points. I need to reduce the decimal points of all the numbers (there are 128 rows of 3 numbers) to 2.

Exclude certain file names while selectingData files coming in different names in a file name called
Data files coming in different names in a file name called process.txt.
1. shipments_yyyymmdd.gz
2 Order_yyyymmdd.gz
3. Invoice_yyyymmdd.gz

The root filesystem was mirrored, someone/something stopped mirroring, and increased / and /home to ridiculous values (/ got increased to 102gb and its only using 4.3gb, so 98gb is free). Can I reduce the / (/dev/hd4) filesytem down WITHOUT corrupting the the OS?

These functions are used with the vdccm(1) and dccm(1) connection daemons only. They are of no use when using odccm(1). synce_get_connection_filename() provides a string describing the location of the synce device connection file, written by (v)dccm. The default file is ~/.synce/active_connection. synce_set_connection_filename() sets an alternative connection file name to use. synce_set_default_connection_filename() resets the connection filename to its default value. RETURN VALUE
Returns true if successful. synce_get_connection_filename() fails and returns false if filename is an invalid pointer, or for any of the reasons synce_get_directory() would fail. synce_set_connection_filename() returns false if filename contains '..' or is too long. SEE ALSO
