I have to do testing and each time I test I have to delete certain directories. Every time something go wrong then I have re-do the whole thing.

Can not delete Directory

I've run into a issue where I can not delete directories under a user directory. There are several of these dir now. To find the whole size of a particular directory i use "du -sk /dirname".. but after finding the direcory's size how do i make conditions like if the size of the dir is more than 1 GB i hav to delete some of the files inside the dir (0 Replies)

Why can't I delete this directory ?

Oracle Linux 6.4 bash shell I am trying to remove the directory named OPatch. I am trying to run rm and rmdir commands while logged in as grid user, the owner of the directory. lurker-search -- searches for messages in a lurker database SYNOPSIS
lurker-search [-c <config-file>] [-k <keyword>] [-d -f -i -v -q] [<terms>*] DESCRIPTION
lurker-search searches a lurker database the same way as the web interface. It can output summary information and delete messages. OPTIONS
-c config-file Use this config file for lurker settings. -k keyword Tag the matching messages with this keyword. -d Delete the messages found by this search -f Don't prompt before deleting -i Command line paramers are not search terms, but message IDs. -v Output message summary information -q Don't output message ids or status SEARCH TERMS
