HP-UX 11i OE Per-Processor License, purchase separately
HP-UX Enterprise OE Server Media
The license is $750. Once you have that, you can get the media anywhere you can. That includes an OS residing on a hard drive that was purchased from a third party. A few authorized third parties can include a license with the sale. I have never known HP to track people down or anything. But you won't get any HP support until you buy the license.
That media kit is $565 which seems pretty high since no license is included. A installation manual and a very few other docs come with it. I have a pile of letters on my desk from HP. Each one has a piece of paper with a box that I must manually check. Then I put the piece of paper in the prepaid envelope and send it back to HP. Each one that I check and send back is a media kit that will arrive. I'll probably stop at 5 or 6. But you never know...
(And no, I can't distribute them...they belong to my employer.)
