Data SCO Open Server 5.05 Installaltuion

I'm in the process of installing SCO Open Server 5.05 on the following platform:

Hardware:

IBM 300PL
64 MB RAM
Yamaha 16/4/16 CDRW (Internal defined on SCSI ID 3 LUN 0)

I'm able to boot from the CD and advance to the Installation screen but when it asks for where the media source will be coming from, the install fails to recognise my CDRW.

Do I need drivers for this CDRW installed first ..(where do I get it from for SCO and how and when do I install it)?

Am i right by thinking that my internal CDRW drive should be picked up by default. At the moment its defaulting to FLOPPY.

Also I intend to put Informix SE on this machine after the install. What I'm thinking of doing is just dumping (using cpio) the /data (guessing filesystem here) directory where Informix is installed from an existing system and then restoring it to the new system that I'm installing SCO on. Yes both the system have the same operating system.

Will this work???????

If not please advise why not and a solution that I could implement.

Thanks

VOLSERLOG(5) AFS File Reference VOLSERLOG(5)

NAME
VolserLog - Traces Volume Server operations DESCRIPTION
The VolserLog file records a trace of Volume Server (volserver process) operations on the local machine and describes any error conditions it encounters. If the VolserLog file does not already exist in the /var/log/openafs directory when the Volume Server starts, the server process creates it and writes initial start-up messages to it. If there is an existing file, the Volume Server renames it to VolserLog.old, overwriting the existing VolserLog.old file if it exists. The file is in ASCII format. Administrators listed in the /etc/openafs/server/UserList file can use the bos getlog command to display its contents. Alternatively, log onto the file server machine and use a text editor or a file display command such as the UNIX cat command. By default, the mode bits on the VolserLog file grant the required "r" (read) permission to all users. The Volume Server records operations only as it completes them, and so cannot recover from failures by reviewing the file. The log contents are useful for administrative evaluation of process failures and other problems. SEE ALSO
