sco open server 5.0.6
I'm new to the whole Unix thing and have inherited a network running Macs, Windows 2000 and Unix. The Unix side is very suspect at this point and I want to change out the server.
I'd love to use one of the new Apple servers but can't find any info on what "flavors" of Unix it will run. Specificly I need to know if I can load SCO Open Server 5 and BBX Pro 5 on it.

Any of you savvy Unix knowers have an idea?

BBX as In Business Basic? Smilie Thats we are using, well.. we have migrated to ProvideX. While I dont know much about the apple machine that you are referring to, I can tell you that the SCO/BBX or ProvideX combo is pretty versitile, at least from my experience.

the apple servers only run OS X -- which is apple new (BSD) unix based OS..

SCO only runs on Intel based servers.

the Apple server runs apple's proprietary G4 chip
