Put the following (or something like it) in your .cshrc
alias cd 'cd \!*;set prompt="[`hostname`]$cwd :" '
As far as color, do a search on this site for prompt AND color. This has been answered before and you should be able to get one of them to work.

currently, my samba login works just fine. i want my clients to use aix5.3 account to login to samba so they don't have to change samba pwd and aix pwd. i googled, and vi /usr/lib/smb.conf per some of knowledge base, but i could not get to work.
aix5.3 and samba 3.0.24.0

However pwd command and $PWD is going to give the same result, then why do we have 2 different things.

DESCRIPTION
"SDL_Color" describes a color in a format independent way.
METHODS
new
my $color = SDL::Color->new(255, 0, 0);
The constructor creates a new color with the specified red, green and blue values.
r
my $r = $color->r;
$color->r(128);
If passed a value, this method sets the red component of the color; if not, it returns the red component of the color.
g
my $g = $color->g;
$color->g(128);
If passed a value, this method sets the green component of the color; if not, it returns the green component of the color.
b
