updating sendmail versions?

Currently have sendmail 8.6.? running on sunOS 5.7
(I only have remote access to the server)
- the sendmail.cf file says its a ultrix 4 build (I don't know why)
- got the new sendmail archive and extracted it to /usr/local/src/
- been reading the readme files, got the bat book, but...
still don't know where to start?

What files should backup during the install/update
(the server gets a full backup nightly, just want to know which
files/directories to keep close at hand... to lookup current info, etc.)

also, where to find step-by-step guide to updating sendmail for a newbie...

Is there any way to get old HP-UX versions?

I got my hands on a HP9000/380 and need a (really) old version of HP-UX, like 7 or 8. Is there any vendor who sells older versions? I did a quick search here and checked the FAQ and HPs HP-UX site but couldn't find anything. Any help is appreciated! (4 Replies)
